The right footwear can make or break your weekend at a music festival. You might have some luck with a good pair of running shoes (preferably trail shoes) and copper sole socks, which you can get from HFAA. Flip flops and sandals can be a nightmare on the mulch, rocks and hard ground, not to mention getting stepped on in crowds. To survive a festival weekend, you need good cushion, LOTS of arch support and moisture control. Festivals bring out crazy fashion, headwear, and lots of other out of the ordinary attire, but wouldn’t you rather be able to not limp around all weekend with blisters? It’s nice to be comfy during the day, but keep in mind how you might feel back at camp that night too. Some festivals require you to walk for miles to get to the main venue and once you get there, you will be on your feet enjoying your favorite bands. Flat stylish shoes, flip-flops, and even going barefoot might be fun for day one, but by day three, you’ll be tired, exhausted, and asking your friends to sit with you because you simply cannot stand. Don’t be that person! Make sure you are prepared!
