Valentine’s Day is this week - why not get inspired with a manicure and or pedicure here at Healing Steps Spa. Be pampered by our nail technician with Gilden Tree Products, including soak, scrub, moisturizer, and shea butter balm. Finish off the look with a Valentine’s worthy color from Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish.
Dr.’s Remedy polish offers an array of pinks to reds. Some of our favorites are Purity Pink, Precious Pink, Positive Pastel Pink, Hopeful Hot Pink, Remedy Red, Revive Ruby Red, and Giving Garnet. The girls in the office love to mix and match different colors to give a unique paint job.
Another great part of having a Spa in office is the ability to try out new nail art. Inspired by Valentines Day, we love the tiny heart nail look using these pinks. Whether you come in to get a manicure and design, or do it at home, Dr.’s Remedy has enough pretty in pink colors to choose from. For those doing this design at home, here are some helpful steps to creating the heart-tipped nails.
- Apply Dr.’s Remedy Base Coat.
- Apply two coats of your choice of Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish in any pink or red shade. Lighter shades may require an additional coat of polish.
- Once the color is dried apply a darker or lighter pink by Dr.’s Remedy, to the tips in a shape like a tiny heart. It is recommended to draw in the lines with a smaller paint brush and then fill in with color.
- Final step to complete the look is to apply Dr.’s Remedy Top Coat in either a shine or matte texture.
For someone like myself, I need a nail expert to complete this look. So please call Healing Steps Spa to book your appointment for that special day so your nails can be pretty in pink and ready for the perfect Valentine’s Day look!
