My husband is currently serving in the Illinois National Guard and recently returned home from a year long deployment. I always enjoyed our conversations while he was overseas since they were far and few between. One particular day he had called from Egypt and could not stop complaining about how sweaty and smelly his feet were. Finally by the end of our conversation I couldn’t take it anymore- I told him I was going to mail him a few pairs of socks and some foot spray for him to use.
A few days went by with no word from my husband and then one afternoon he called and without saying “Hi” he exclaimed “What on earth did you give me? It’s amazing!”.
