Our medical assistants, Ashley and Amity, recently had a sleepover with their daughters. Ashley’s daughter, Jasmyn, is 4 years old while Amity’s daughter, Ava, is 19 months old. My little Lauren fits right in the middle of Jasmyn and Ava being 2 years old! Having a bit of an age gap, Jasmyn wanted to play Xbox with Ava, and didn’t understand why a barely 1.5 year old didn’t want to/know how to play her games. It took some time for Jasmyn to learn that Ava is smaller and younger than her, and can’t do everything a 4 year old can. One slumber party staple that is always a hit is painting nails though!
Painting nails at a slumber party is as iconic as a pillow fight, and can be enjoyed (with supervision!) by children of all ages! Normally I would be against 2 little girls painting their nails due to the harmful toxins conventional nail polishes contain such as Formaldehyde and DBP. Being formulated with natural ingredients such as tea tree oil, garlic bulb extract, and vitamins, Dr.’s Remedy Enriched Nail Polish is the only polish I carry at the office and my home!
As a valued HFAA physician extender, Ashley knew that Dr.’s Remedy was safe for the girls to enjoy! Ashley was happy to let Ava and Jasmyn paint each other’s nails knowing she didn’t have to worry about the girls’ safety with the podiatrist formulated polish. The only thing Ashley had to worry about was protecting her carpet from two playful children and a bottle of polish! Comment below with your fondest slumber party memory!
