They range in price from $10-$100 depending on the brand and features you want it to include. You can purchase a pedometer at most drug stores, athletic supply stores, or a big chain store.
Walking is the simplest, most natural, and most economical way to keep your body active and healthy. Wearing a pedometer gives you a way to measure how many steps you are taking and allows you to set personal goals with gradual increases in steps. Wear your pedometer for a few days and record the number of steps you take each day. Set a goal of 500 additional steps a day for the next week. Gradually add 500 steps per week until you are at 10,000 steps. You will be amazed with how much better you feel!
