Personally, I don’t care what time of year it is, summer or winter, my feet never feel soft enough. I love soft skin and that is especially true for my feet which get the most use. We all get pedicures when we have the time, but what about in the meantime? I am going to list some helpful tips about how to maintain your soft feet at home. For each step below, we recommend using the Gilden Tree product line.
Get Your Soak On – The first step to ensure soft feet is to treat yourself to a nice soak. Who doesn’t need to rest their feet after a long day at the office and running around? Start by creating a footbath for you and adding Gilden Tree’s Revitalizing Foot Soak Crystals. The Shea Butter and sea salt will help to gently soften feet. Additionally, Epsom salt included in the soak will remove toxins and it is a good idea to exfoliate your feet at this time with a foot scrub. After soaking for several minutes, take a gentle foot scrubber and exfoliate those feet!
Lather That Lotion – After you have soaked and prepped your feet, apply your Nourishing Foot Cream. Lotion will help to renew and soften your dry skin no matter what the season. It is best to apply lotion after your soak and after every shower. Just be sure to dry properly between your toes. Excess moisture between toes can lead to many other problems and is a breeding ground for fungus.
Foot Mask and Socks– For an even deeper way to moisturize, my favorite trick is to use my socks! Apply your lotion or foot mask (Gilden Tree Shea Butter Balm) right before bed and put on some nice cotton socks. The socks will better hold the moisture in to leave your feet beautifully soft in the morning. This is an easy way to help your feet lock in moisture and it’s all while you sleep! What could be easier than that?
